To support this transition of LetsDefend content into Hack The Box platforms, starting on October 15, all new content will be released exclusively on Hack The Box platforms, and annual plans on LetsDefend are no longer available for purchase  or renewal.

This brings us one step closer to building the ultimate hands-on defensive training ecosystem, accessible directly through Hack The Box subscriptions.

FAQ

What happens to current LetsDefend subscriptions?

Annual plans on LetsDefend are no longer available for purchases or renewals starting on October 15th. Monthly plans are still being offered for LetsDefend users, however every new content release will be launched exclusively on Hack The Box platforms and will not be available for monthly subscribers on LetsDefend.

Is all LetsDefend content already available on HTB?

The content migration is planned to finish by the end of 2026 with the addition of SOC alerts into HTB Labs. However all courses and challenges are already available on Hack The Box Labs and Academy.

What's the difference between HTB Academy and HTB Labs?

Academy teaches techniques through guided Modules and exercises. Labs gives you scenarios to solve independently, including defensive investigations called Sherlocks.

Do I need both HTB Labs and HTB Academy subscriptions?

Choose based on the training you want. Academy and Labs subscriptions are separate. Compare their included content before purchasing.

Can I start for free?

Yes. HTB offers selected free content. Paid plans open additional training, and access varies by platform and plan.

Will my LetsDefend progress transfer to Hack The Box?

Yes, this is currently in progress and will be soon finalized.
