NEW YORK — Jan. 14, 2026 — Hack The Box (HTB), the global leader in cybersecurity readiness, today announced its role in supporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) cyber workforce development through its strategic partnership with Solutions³ LLC. Solutions³ has been awarded the FBI Cyber Training IDIQ Contract, under which HTB will serve as a key differentiator by delivering realistic, hands-on cyber training environments aligned to the FBI’s mission needs.
As cyber threats become more automated and adaptive, adversaries are rapidly evolving tactics to accelerate operations at scale. This has expanded the attack surface while reducing response time, requiring cyber defenders to maintain speed, precision, and operational resilience in increasingly demanding environments.
HTB addresses this challenge by enabling practice-driven, threat-realistic training that mirrors modern adversary behavior. Its real-world learning environments allow FBI cybersecurity personnel to train under conditions that reflect real-world operational complexity, building the skills and confidence required to defend mission-critical systems.
HTB contributes high-fidelity, adversary-emulated cyber labs that allow FBI cyber teams to rehearse real-world attack and defense scenarios across structured learning pathways. Training spans critical domains including threat detection, incident response, digital forensics, and penetration testing, helping personnel stay ahead of an increasingly dynamic threat landscape.
“The global cyber threat environment is becoming more automated, more adaptive, and less forgiving of slow response,” said Kevin Ireland, Deputy of Worldwide Federal and SLED at Hack The Box. “Through our partnership with Solutions³, we’re delivering training that reflects that reality, combining hands-on, threat-realistic environments with deep program and domain expertise to ensure federal cyber defenders can train at the pace of modern adversaries. Together, we’re helping teams prove readiness well before an incident occurs, not after.”
As a strategic component of the FBI Cyber Training IDIQ, HTB will support scalable, outcomes-driven cyber readiness across the Bureau. Training is organized into 18 structured pathways across three progressive levels, Entry, Intermediate, and Advanced, ensuring consistent capability development from foundational skills through advanced cyber operations. Continuous, hands-on practice will enable FBI cyber teams to strengthen applied skills, improve detection and response effectiveness, and validate readiness across the full attack lifecycle.
“As prime on the FBI Cyber Training IDIQ, Solutions³ is focused on delivering training that is operationally relevant, scalable, and sustainable over time,” said Mike Battistella, President & CTO at Solutions³ LLC. “Hack The Box brings a level of realism and hands-on depth that is essential for modern cyber defence, and their platform plays a critical role within a broader, structured training ecosystem designed to meet the FBI’s evolving mission needs.”
As part of Solutions³’s delivery, HTB serves as a critical enabler of hands-on skill development within the FBI’s pathway-based training model. The engagement further validates HTB’s ability to support large-scale public sector initiatives that demand realism, structure, and measurable readiness outcomes.
