FAQ: What You Need to Know
Do I need to have a team?
Yes! You should form a team of maximum 10 people.
How long will it take?
The duration of the Qualifier CTF will be 48 hours.
What if something goes wrong?
We will support the CTF via our Hack The Box Discord server via private channels only for the CTF Participants. Join our server and we will inform you after your registration how to enter our secret HTB x UNI CTF Channels.
What content will be in the CTF?
It will be a Jeopardy Style CTF with more than 20 Challenges distributed in various categories. The difficulty will scale from beginner to hard.
Who will go to the Finals?
The Top 15 teams of the Qualifier round will pass to the Finals round.
How will I qualify for the Finals?
The Top 15 teams will need to send us write-ups after the CTF to decide who is going to pass or not to the Finals round. If a team does not qualify, we will contact the next team in the Scoreboard.
Is there a limit of participants?
No, there is no max capacity. The more the merrier!
Is there a deadline?
All teams need to enroll their University to HTB and submit the form below by November 15th 2020 23:59 pm UTC! After our team reviews all the submissions, eligible Universities will receive an email with instructions and details on how to join the CTF event. So, make sure you provide an email that you regularly check ;)
